Each Stearns & Foster® mattress is meticulously crafted to provide you with the best possible sleep. We finish all our mattresses with a stretch-knit cover inspired by designers and infused with TENCEL™ — a sustainably sourced fiber often used in athletic wear. This fiber is designed to help draw away moisture for a cooler and more comfortable night's sleep.
Our Lux Estate and Reserve collections feature covers created by combining the moisture-wicking properties of TENCEL™ with added cooling fibers. These fibers are a small but mighty component in helping sleepers stay cool, plus they’re compostable and biodegradable. AirVent System
Think our cooling efforts stop at the cover? Think again. Below the surface of the mattress, you’ll find an AirVent System consisting of ventilated coils that work with external air vents to help prevent heat buildup inside the mattress. This system aids in dissipating trapped heat to help promote a cool, comfortable, deep slumber throughout the night. Crafted with a beautiful silver finish, the air vents work hard and look good, too.
IntelliFlex™ Coils
The Lux Hybrid features the exclusive IntelliFlex™ coil system — combining two layers of our signature foam with each individual innerspring. This unique design allows the mattress to flex and support every curve, creating hundreds of airflow channels for unparalleled comfort all night long.^
